An afternoon of great local bands bringing their best to compete for the love of music and the ability to meet the members of one of Christian music’s top bands: ”Jars of Clay” In conjunction with LCA’s Annual Christian Classic Tournament and Carnival, this inaugural event will showcase local talent.
Come and encourage these musicians to do their best. The low $2.00 admission fee allows each fan to cast one vote for their favorite band. A special prize from Lexington’s GUITAR CENTER will be given to the most popular band as voted by the fans in attendance.
Judges include Coach Cravens, Clark Cranfill, and Ross Hill. Master of Ceremonies will be Mike Menkel from K-LOVE/Air 1 radio.

Gather your band and send an email of interest to bob2008@lcamarchingeagles.org. If necessary, request an entry form to be emailed to you or download from www.lcamarchingeagles.org/bobentry.pdf. Return the entry form and a $25.00 non-refundable entry fee / deposit to hold a spot on the schedule. Performance spots are limited—so enter today!
Amps, drums, and keyboard provided. Bands should bring their own guitars, sticks, pedal boards etc. Time allotment will be around 15 minutes, plan on playing 2-3 songs. Solo artists will be scheduled between multi- piece bands. Detailed times to be determined.
Invite everyone you know to come see your band. There will be a prize specifically for the “popular vote” from the fans! So sign up, practice hard, be ready to put on a show.
NOTE: Music selections and on-stage performance should comply with LCA standards. Please no profanity, suggestive lyric or inappropriate attire.
